Welcome to Badgers Class
Badgers is where our wonderful Year 6 children learn.
We are Year 6 taught by Mrs Whittingham and Miss Argyle with the support of Mrs Barnetson HLTA and Mrs Harris.
As the oldest children in the school, we pride ourselves on being role models for the younger pupils and we love to lead the school as School Champions, members of the School Council and Buddy
Please have a look at the wonderful work we have been doing and you will see why we think
Badgers are the best!
Mrs Whittingham and Miss Argyle
We are currently creating a brand new curriculum that will be bespoke to our wonderful school – our full curriculum map will be published when this work has been complete.
For the Autumn 2 half term we are learning:-
Maths: We will be continuing to follow the maths national curriculum, based around our own adapted version of the White Rose Maths scheme of learning. (Fractions)
English: We will be reading and deconstructing non-fiction texts.
RE: We will be looking at humanism and its key beliefs and ideas, focusing on its Golden Rule: ‘treat others as you would like to be treated’.
Science: Local community, global community, SPACE! We will be learning about Earth and space.
