Our finances

Our school finances

Barford Primary School is a state-funded primary school and we are not an academy. Therefore we receive our funding from the Department for Education through Norfolk County Council.

You can find out more information about our finances through the DfE’s ‘Schools Financial Benchmarking’ service.  You can find the details for Barford Primary by clicking here.

Please note that the information on the benchmarking service is historic, and relates to previous financial years.

We are also required to publish details of any salaries over £100,000.  We can confirm that no school employee has a gross annual salary of  £100,000 or more, and the highest salary in the school falls in the £40,000-£60,000 bracket.

If you have any further questions about our school finances please don’t hesitate to get in touch through the school office.

I like school because everyone knows you and you know everyone. The teachers are really nice and even if you have a particular friend, you can always get another one because everyone is so friendly.

I have been here for a while now and I like being in a small school because I know everyone. The surroundings are nice, it isn’t too crowded. My favourite thing is being able to learn new things, even if they are hard.
MollyYear 5 pupil
I’ve been here since Reception, in Year 2 I moved house, but I did not want to move schools because Barford is so homely, I have so many friends.
Emily Year 5 pupil
I really like this school because the classes are mixed, it means you get to work with a range of ages and all the teachers really know you.
Francesca Year 5 pupil
